A kitchen built on trust
Accessibility
Our aim
We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard access, readable contrast, clear labels, semantic headings, responsive layouts, and visible focus. This is a target, not a certification.
Cooking and navigation
Use the Skip to content link, ingredient checkboxes, explicit previous and next cooking controls, and ordinary form controls. Meal planning has date controls and does not require drag-and-drop. Scripture rotation starts paused and is not repeatedly announced to screen readers.
Known limits
Screen-reader testing with assistive hardware, every browser, and final print preview verification are still part of the release checklist. Timers may not alert after a browser closes. Browser-local storage may be unavailable in restricted environments.
Help us improve
If a barrier prevents you from using a recipe or tool, email justin@crossandcanopy.com or use Report a Problem. Tell us the page, device, browser, and what happened, sharing only what is needed.
